A man was killed in a shooting Friday in South Shore.
About 12:53 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detector alert in the 7200 block of South Jeffery Boulevard, Chicago police said.
They found a 25-year-old with gunshot wounds to the back and head in the driver’s side of a vehicle that had crashed into a building, police said. He was pronounced on the scene.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
