A man was critically injured after he jumped from an upper-level terminal at O’Hare International Airport while running from police Tuesday, according to authorities.
Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the man jumped from an upper-level terminal to a lower-level terminal. The man was fleeing from officers who attempted to place him in custody for a disturbance at the terminal counter, Guglielmi said.
He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital where he was last listed in critical condition, officials said.
No other injuries were reported.
