Man Critically Wounded in Grayslake Shooting

He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries

A 36-year-old man was critically wounded Saturday afternoon in a shooting in suburban Warren Township.

About 2 p.m., he was approached by someone while he was standing in front of his home in the 33800 block of North Oat Street, who fired several shots at him, according to the Lake County sheriff’s office.

He was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
