A man was wounded Thursday when he fell from a balcony at the Chicago Theatre in the Loop.
The 33-year-old fell from a third floor balcony to the basement level of a venue about 11:29 p.m. in the 100 block of North State Street, Chicago police said. Video from the area showed an emergency response at the Chicago Theatre.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition with head trauma and a knee injury, police said.
The theatre was hosting a Halloween concert Thursday night, according to its website. Representatives could not immediately be reached for comment.
