Man Charged With Taking Video Up Teen Girl's Skirt

The incident happened as the girl exited the Harrison Red Line station

A Chicago man has been charged with taking a video recording of a 16-year-old girl with the camera pointed up her skirt as he followed her out of a CTA train station.

Steven Carmona, 40, was charged with one felony count of taking unauthorized video under the clothes of a minor, police said.

Carmona allegedly began taking the video at the Belmont Red Line station on April 1, according to the Chicago Tribune. He stayed on the southbound train with the girl until the Harrison Red Line stop where they both exited the train. Carmona then pointed the camera up her skirt as she walked up the stairs.

Judge Peggy Chiampas ordered Carmona held on $150,000 bail Saturday, the Tribune reports. She also demanded that he stay away from the victim as well as other minors and CTA property.
