A 23-year-old man is facing charges in connection with five car burglaries between Nov. 2 and Dec. 7 at Westfield Old Orchard Mall in Skokie, police say.
Christian Garcia-Palomo of Skokie is charged with four felony counts related to burglary and one misdemeanor of possession of stolen property. On Dec. 7 around 4:00 p.m., Skokie police were called to a parking garage at Old Orchard Mall, where they investigated Garcia-Palomo on an unrelated incident and discovered that he had stolen property.
Bond for Garcia-Palomo was set at $150,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 29.
