Man Shot Near “L” Station

Victim stumbled to the train station after he was shot, police said

A man was shot early Monday near a CTA train station in the city’s North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.

Police said the man staggered to the nearby Red Line Howard Station just before 3:30 a.m. after he was shot in the back on the 7500 block of North Paulina Street.

Crews took the man to nearby St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in serious condition.

Police are still investigating. They told NBCChicago they’re searching for as many as six suspects, some with facial tattoos.

No arrests had been made.
