Emmy-nominated actress Christina Hendricks will be among the famous faces at the kickoff of the third annual Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival on Thursday.
Hendricks, who stars on "Mad Men," will be on hand for the opening day festivities, which will include a performance by pop star Jason Derulo and a Factor Women fashion show featuring looks from 900 North Michigan Shops, The Shops at North Bridge and Water Tower Place.
Thursday's event takes place at the #ShopFest Tent at Pioneer Court (401 N. Michigan Ave.) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Tickets $30)
The Magnificent Mile Shopping Festival runs Aug. 22-Sept. 2 and includes a culinary event featuring celebrity chefs Art Smith and Rick Bayless, cocktail parties, additional runway shows and special sales at all participating retailers.
