Lollapalooza Tickets Sell Out

Single-day passes sold out about an hour after they went on sale at 10 a.m.

That's it, Lollapalooza fans. Tickets to the Chicago music festival are sold out.

Single-day passes sold out about an hour after they went on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday at lollapalooza.com. Saturday passes went first, selling out in about 30 minutes.

"Lollapalooza 2013 GA 3-Day, 1-Day, and VIP Passes are now completely SOLD OUT!" the message reads on the festival's Facebook page. "Thanks to everyone who will be joining us in Grant Park this August. Stay tuned for giveaways and contests all summer..."

If you missed out, you're not the only one.

Weekend passes sold out in record time. Festival organizers said it was the first time in festival history that three-day passes sold out before the lineup was released.

SPECIAL SECTION: Lollapalooza Guide

The full lineup and schedule were unveiled this week featuring The Cure, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, The Postal Service and Vampire Weekend as headliners.

The daily lineup was released more than a week early, possibly after a photo of a magazine ad depicting the lineup went viral.

The festival will be held August 2-4 in Grant Park.
