Morgan Tuck was at USA Basketball team trials

The father of Bolingbrook forward Morgan Tuck confirmed Wednesday that his daughter suffered a serious injury after coming down wrong during a scrimmage at the USA Baskeball team trials in Colorado Springs last weekend.  Tuck and Bolingbrook teammate Ariel Massengale were named to the team Sunday.

David Tuck said an MRI on Tuesday revealed that the teen has a torn the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee,

Morgan Tuck, who is 6-feet 2-inches tall, was the state's first freshman recipient of the Ms. Baskeball of Illinois award and is considered one of the nation's top players in the Class of 2012.

"Her spirits are up," David Tuck told The Chicago Breaking News Center.
