Khalil Mack Earns Shoutout From LeBron James After Big Performance

Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack had another game to remember on Monday night, and he got a shoutout from one of the biggest stars in professional sports.

Mack notched a pair of sacks and forced two fumbles in the Bears’ Monday night win over the Washington Redskins. The linebacker’s performance was so dominant in the game that he caught the attention of none other than Lakers superstar LeBron James:

“You a savage savage!” James tweeted. “Congrats on the W.”

If it seems like Mack’s game steps up to a new level in primetime games, that’s because it does. According to ESPN’s Stats and Info, Mack has played six primetime games for the Bears in his career, registering six sacks, seven forced fumbles, and a touchdown in those games.

In non-primetime games, Mack has nine and a half sacks and two forced fumbles in 11 contests.

Mack and the Bears won’t have another primetime game until Week 11 when they face the Los Angeles Rams at the LA Coliseum. They currently have two other primetime games on their schedule, as they’ll welcome the Dallas Cowboys to Soldier Field on Dec. 5 and they’ll take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football on Dec. 22.
