Two people are in custody in connection with another attack in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.

Two men approached a man in the 900 block of West Belmont around 3:30 Saturday morning, police said. They started a fight and stabbed the 24-year-old in the neck before running away.

The victim was taken to the hospital and listed in good condition.

"Thank you to our officers for their quick and professional action," Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) said in a statement. "Late night patrols have been stepped up in our neighborhood and we will continue to work together."
