Kristin Cavallari Coming to Chicago Area as Part of Book Tour

Looks like Kristin Cavallari is returning to her Chicago-area roots this week.

As part of the tour for her new cookbook “True Roots,” Cavallari will make two stops in Illinois.

The reality TV star and fashion designer will appear at Anderson’s in La Grange on April 24 and at the Lake Forest Book Store on April 25.

The book has made headlines since its launch, in part in the Chicago area for what it revealed about her husband, former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

Cavallari, who grew up in part in Barrington, reportedly wrote that when she and Cutler have guests in their new Nashville home, Cutler likes to make acorn squash boats for breakfast.

“We’ve never had one person not comment on how good and different they are,” Cavallari wrote, according to the Chicago Tribune. “They’re the perfect balance between salty (sausage), sweet (squash) and deliciousness.”

Among other Cutler things revealed in the new book are his favorite drink (whiskey with ginger-infused ice cubes and thyme), his weakness (anything with chocolate peanut butter) and that he apparently enjoys hunting.

The couple sold their suburban Chicago mansion following Cutler’s departure from the Bears.nth.
