Kiddieland Train Heads to Indiana Museum

Another piece of the historic Kiddieland Park will live on.

The  Limited Steam Train will once again be giving rides beginning Memorial Day Weekend at the Hesston Steam Museum in Hesston, Ind.

The train was built in 1949 but had an uncertain future after the west suburban amusement park closed down last year after 81 years.  The train and more than a mile of track were bought by a suburban Chicago businessman.

Six Flags Great America in Gurnee recently bought the "Little Dipper" roller coaster. It will also be up and running for the holiday weekend.
