Sen. Mark Kirk is hosting a pair of campaign events in Chicago Thursday alongside Ohio Gov. John Kasich, the Illinois senator's campaign has announced.
A fundraising luncheon is set for noon at downtown restaurant Coco Pazzo. Tickets cost $250 per individual with a variety of pricier options. “Supporter" tickets go for $1,000, while “Sponsor" tickets cost $2,700. The most expensive “Host” tickets will run supporters $5,400.
After the luncheon, the fellow Republicans are slated to tour Bunker Labs, which is housed within Chicago’s 1871 tech hub.
Bunker Labs gives veteran entrepreneurs resources and opportunities to start businesses. Kirk and Kasich will also tour 1871’s recent 13th floor expansion to meet with entrepreneurs, campaign officials said.
Kasich suspended his presidential campaign in May, leaving Donald Trump as the only Republican in the field. During his campaign, Kasich only tallied one primary victory, which came in his home state of Ohio.
