Kanye West's ‘Sunday Service' in Chicago Sold Out in Less Than an Hour

The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island

Kanye West’s free “Sunday Service” event in Chicago sold out in less than an hour after entrance tickets were released to the public Saturday.

Though the event is public, tickets, which were available free of charge starting at 11 a.m. Saturday on the Live Nation website, are required to attend.

The service was said to emit messages about positivity and peace within the city’s youth, and this isn't the first time West has chosen to engage in similar community events.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the artist “has been traveling with his ‘Sunday Service’ choir to host events around the country.”

The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island.

Fans unable to attend Sunday’s event can tune into the live broadcast on 107.5 WGCI Chicago, according to iHeartRadio.
