Joliet Woman Missing for More Than a Month as Police Continue to Search

The Joliet woman who has been missing for more than a month had fallen on hard times and lost her apartment, but was working at a temp agency to get back on her feet, her family said

Jasmine Morrow’s family first knew something was wrong when the 33-year-old didn’t pick up her check from work.

The Joliet woman who has been missing for more than a month had fallen on hard times and lost her apartment, but was working at a temp agency to get back on her feet, her family said.

But just before the Fourth of July, she disappeared.

Joliet police said Morrow was first reported missing on July 2 by her mother.

She was last seen wearing a white shirt, pink pants and white shoes.

“Morrow is currently homeless and is know to frequent the areas of Black Road/Route 30, Chicago Street/McDonough Avenue, and Jefferson Street/Hickory Street,” police said in their alert.

Last week, police said a female’s body was found in an abandoned home in the 0-100 block of Cagwin Avenue, just before demolition crews were about to begin work. Authorities later said that woman was not Morrow and Morrow remained missing.

Anyone who may have information on her disappearance is being asked to call Detective Paul Rodriquez at (815) 724-6374.
