Jeffery, McPhee Both Questionable for Bears Sunday vs. Vikings

The Chicago Bears have a big challenge ahead of them as they attempt to keep their faint playoff hopes alive on Sunday, and they’ll have to deal with an assortment of ailments to some of their key contributors.

The team announced on Friday that cornerback Bryce Callahan is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, as he continues to deal with a calf injury. Callahan did not play last week against Washington, and his absence will impact a Bears secondary that has been showing some signs of improvement in recent weeks.

The Bears also listed a large group of players as questionable on their final injury report of the week, including wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) and linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee). Zach Miller, Will Sutton, Sherrick McManis, and Tracy Porter are all listed as questionable for the game.

Final lineup decisions will be made by 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, 90 minutes before kickoff at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
