Ivanka Trump to Visit Illinois Wednesday

First daughter and presidential advisor Ivanka Trump was scheduled to visit Illinois on Wednesday.

Trump was expected to visit downstate Godfrey to discuss workforce development and American industry, according to the White House.

She was slated to participate in a roundtable discussion at Lewis & Clark Community College, the Alton Telegraph reported.

GOP Rep. Rodney Davis posted on Facebook that he would be participating in the discussion, which the Belleville News-Democrat reported would have about 250 people in the audience, by invitation only.

Trump's visit to Illinois comes less than two weeks after her father President Donald Trump visited the state, speaking about trade at a steel mill in Granite City.
