Where's the beef? Depends on how the Chicago Bears do against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chicago-based Italian beef chain Buona Beef made a friendly wager with Mojo's East Coast Eats, a Philly cheesesteak purveyor in Downers Grove, ahead of the Bears' first playoff game in eight years.
"It’s Bears vs Eagles, but to us it’s really ITALIAN BEEF vs PHILLY CHEESESTEAK!" Buona wrote on social media.
Depending on which team wins, a free sandwich will be available to the first 100 customers at one of the two restaurants on Monday.
If the Bears win, Mojo's will serve Buona beef to its customers at 2758 Maple Ave. in Downers Grove. If the Eagles win, Buona will serve Mojo's cheesesteaks at its West Loop location, at 804 W. Washington in Chicago.
Mojo's has dubbed the wager a "Beef Bowl."
