A San Francisco startup company is offering grocery deliveries to Chicagoans for little more than the cost of a bottle of "three-buck Chuck."
Instacart began service to 13 Chicago neighborhoods on Tuesday, according to Crain's, and Trader Joe's is the only store offered at this time, although Dominick's, Whole Foods and Costco are expected to be added in coming weeks.
Customers use the company's app to order groceries, which are purchased by a personal shopper and delivered to your door.
According to the company's web site, delivery can be as fast as under an hour, although you can schedule your order for a future date and time.
Delivery prices are determined by the size of the order and when the customer wants it delivered, but company officials say the delivery charge is $3.99 at most stores if you order $35 worth in under two hours.
The company plans to expand to additional city neighborhoods and the suburbs, Crain's reports.
