An inmate has escaped from the Kenosha Correctional Center, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections confirmed Friday.
The minimum-security inmate was identified as 33-year-old Jared McGovern.
The incident was reported to the Kenosha County Sheriff's office, according to the DOC.
McGovern was described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
