Authorities say an individual was rescued after drowning in Rainbow Beach waters in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood Tuesday evening.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed that CPR was performed on a person that was later taken into Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
Witnesses in the area say people jumped in to save a little girl who seemed unresponsive, however the age nor the gender has been confirmed by officials.
