Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb has been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, according to a spokesperson.
In a statement, Press Secretary Erin Murphy said Holcomb went to the doctor Thursday, thinking he had the flu, but was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution."
Holcomb is said to be "responding well" to treatment.
