One lucky Illinoisan just put an exclamation point on their holiday week.

Three Powerball tickets matched all five balls in Wednesday's drawing, only missing the Powerball,to win $1 million. One of those tickets was sold in Illinois, lottery officials say, with the other two sold in Florida and Wisconsin.

One winning ticket that matched all five numbers and the Powerball was sold in New York to claim the $298.3 million jackpot.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were 05, 25, 38, 52 and 67, with powerball 24.

The Illinois ticket was sold at a Shell gas station at 385 Higgins Rd. in Gilberts. 

The New York winner has yet to come forward and claim the prize. The person has 60 days after ticket validation to choose between the $298.3 million annuity option or $180.2 million cash.

One person in New Jersey also won a smaller prize, matching four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000.

Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Lottery players have one chance left this year to win more than $300 million. The last Mega Millions drawing is up for grabs on Friday with an estimated jackpot of $348 million.
