The hour-long event will be broadcast live from NBC Tower and moderated by NBC 5 political editor Carol Marin, with reporters Mary Ann Ahern and Karla Leal taking questions from the audience.

The four candidates in the November election are, in the order they appear on the ballot: Democrat J.B. Pritzer, Republican Bruce Rauner, Libertarian Grayson "Kash" Jackson and Conservative Sam McCann.

"We are pleased to host the Illinois candidates for governor in this forum," said Frank Whittaker, NBC 5 station manager and vice president of news. "Our commitment to political coverage is unmatched in Chicago. We look forward to giving voters a look at where each candidate stands on important issues facing our state."

"The forum is of vital importance to the Hispanic community, in order for them to be informed and hear straight from the candidates on issues that affect us all," said Telemundo Chicago's Vice President of News Diana Maldonado said.

Both stations previously hosted the first forum of the Democratic candidates for governor ahead of the March primary, as well as a 2014 forum of Republican candidates for Illinois governor and the award-winning Chicago Mayoral Debate in 2015.
