A semi-trailer driver was killed Tuesday after they were ejected from the cabin of the vehicle when it rolled over the concrete barrier southbound I-355 near New Lenox, Illinois State Police said.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. near the ramp to eastbound I-80 and no other vehicles were involved, police said.
The driver was reported dead on the scene and a passenger was taken to a local hospital.
No other information was immediately available.
