Hundreds of Flights Canceled Due to Severe Weather

Over 300 flights have been canceled at Chicago’s airports as severe weather blows through the area.

According to the Chicago Department of Aviation, 337 flights have been canceled at O’Hare International Airport as of 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, with flight delays of over an hour reported at the airport.

Only three flights have been canceled at Midway, the department said.

Thousands are also without power as a result of the storms, which prompted Severe Thunderstorm Warnings across the area.
