Best Buy
When: Oct. 11, noon to 7p.m.
Hiring fairs will take place at all Best Buy stores on Oct. 11 from noon to 7 p.m. local time.
Target
When: Oct. 11 - 13 and Nov. 2 -3, from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
Target is looking to hire 125,000 seasonal team members nationwide. Apply for available roles at TargetSeasonalJobs.com or stop in to a local store or distribution center.
JCPenney
When: Oct. 15, 2 to 8 p.m.
To fill the seasonal positions, each JCPenney location is hosting an annual National Hiring Day event. During the event, management will be holding in-person interviews and making employment offers to qualified candidates on-the-spot.
JCPenney Salon
When: Oct. 21, 1 to 5p.m.
Where: Fox Valley Shopping Center JCPenney, 4 Fox Valley Center, Aurora
A free educational class for interested stylists will take place as the salon seeks to staff the cutting-edge salon. JCPenney’s premier commission plan allows experienced incoming stylists to set their own prices. Highly experienced stylists can also take advantage of leading commission rates, no booth rental fees and flexible scheduling.
DICK’S Sporting Goods
When: Oct. 16
DICK’S is planning to hire approximately 315 seasonal employees in Chicago as part of its “National Signing Day.” Applicants should first apply online and then visit their nearest DICK’S location.
CB2
When: Oct. 16 and 17, 5:30p.m. to 8p.m.
Lincoln Park CB2 is hosting a "Holiday Hiring Open House" searching for seasonal sale associates. Walk-ins are welcome but interested applicants should apply online and bring a resume to the event.
UPS
From November to January, UPS expects to hire about 100,000 season workers to support higher demand in package delivery. Interested job-seekers can apply online or at a local employment fair at a UPS location in their area
