North Sider Tom Krieglstein was the first person in line for the Grant Park rally, the New York Times reports.
“At 6:30 p.m. Monday, he (and about 70,000 others) received a notice by email that he was, indeed, receiving a ticket to gain admission to Mr. Obama’s massive party in this city’s Grant Park.
“So Mr. Krieglstein printed it, then left for Grant Park, where the Chicago police, he said, laughed at first, then seemed genuinely puzzled about what to do with this earliest of arrivals.”
MTV reports that Krieglstein “co-founded a company called Swift Kick - which teaches college students and administrators how to use applications like Facebook and Twitter to reach young people.”
