- It’s “profile the guy who wants to make his own Stanley Cup memories” day in Hawks headlines, and we start with Chris Kuc’s profile of Viktor Stalberg, who didn’t get a chance to experience the 2010 Cup win with Chicago because he was still a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization (he was traded to the Hawks in the summer of 2010 in the Kris Versteeg deal). - Mark Lazerus takes the same track in his column, this one about Bryan Bickell. The winger was with the Hawks in 2010 when they won, but he only played 16 games, and so he wasn’t on the ice when the Hawks clinched the Cup on Patrick Kane’s game winning goal. - Finally, the Chicago Wolves, long known as a thorn in the side of the Hawks, and more recently a part of the Blackhawks’ rivalry with the Canucks, is now once again sticking it to their Windy City neighbors, signing an affiliation agreement with the St. Louis Blues. [Pro Hockey Talk]
