Team USA lost their second round robin curling match Thursday morning, falling to Canada 6-4 in their latest round of competition.
Wisconsin siblings Matt and Becca Hamilton took an early lead in the event, but Team Canada, coming off a 6-9 loss against Norway, jumped to a late lead and kept the Hamilton brother-sister duo from rallying.
Team USA had earlier kicked off the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang with a victory in the first-ever mixed doubles curling event.
The pair defeated OAR (Olympic Athletes from Russia) team by a 9-3 margin in their opening match of Round Robin play.
The duo will compete again, taking on Switzerland and South Korea next.
