A Halloween prank promoted by radio station B96 may have ruffled Drew Peterson in the early-morning hours, but not enough to make him forego his original Halloween plan to treat local kids to candy.
"There will be candy available at the Peterson house for trick-or-treating fun," Peterson said shortly after two people showed up at his door Friday morning to win a radio contest. The Bolingbrook police arrived shortly thereafter to put a stop to the shenanigans.
The Naperville Sun reported that the radio station agreed to suspend the contest.
