Trick or Treat? Halloween Forecast for the Chicago Area

As of Monday, the forecast appears to be cool and partly sunny for those in search of candy Wednesday

Mother Nature appears to be offering up a treat for the Chicago area this Halloween.

As of Monday, the forecast appears to be cool and partly sunny for those in search of candy Wednesday.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected give way to partial sunshine for the afternoon hours as trick-or-treaters ready their costumes -- watch out, vampires.

Pleasantly cool conditions will leave temperature highs scattered through the 50s, turning cooler as the evening descends.

Though some areas could see lingering spotty showers Wednesday morning following Tuesday’s predicted rainfall, the spooky holiday forecast appears to stay dry.
