Green Day, Fall Out Boy Announce 2020 Wrigley Field Show

Weezer will also join the bands on the "Hella Mega Tour"

After teasing fans with a massive tour announcement, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and Weezer revealed that they will embark on a stadium tour of the United States next summer, and an iconic Chicago venue will host the trio of bands.

According to a press release issued Tuesday, the “Hella Mega Tour” will make a stop at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Aug. 13, 2020. The show is one of 20 the bands will make during their summer tour, which will also include stops at Dodger Stadium, PNC Park, and Fenway Park.

It will be the second Wrigley Field show for Green Day, who played the stadium in 2017, and for Fall Out Boy, who played the ballpark in 2018.

Tickets for the 20 shows on the tour will go on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. American Express members will be able to purchase tickets beginning on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., according to a press release.

The bands will join up for a surprise show in Los Angeles on Tuesday night to celebrate the announcement. All three bands are expected to release new albums prior to the tour next summer.
