Go to There: Inspire Startups

There’s a lot of false positivity pushed around the entrepreneurial community, and I won’t say it’s necessarily a bad thing, but it is a false thing. Sometimes running your own business is tough. You want to quit. You don’t think you’ll be a success. You forget why you’re doing it and wonder if you should just go back to having a regular job again.

This is where the Inspire Business Club’s event is great. It “gives Chicago’s top early-stage startups the opportunity to showcase... to 50+ techies and investors.” It’s got networking, pitching and free parking. Heck, you should go for the free parking alone, probably.

It takes place April 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Inspire Business Center, located at 1016 W. Jackson Blvd. You can read more about it and register for it here.
