Funeral Arrangements are set for a Marine from Crystal Lake who died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.
Capt. Nathan R. McHone, 29, was one of six U.S. Marines who died Jan. 19 when their helicopter crashed in Helmand province.
His body arrived Friday at the DuPage Airport and the Crystal Lake Police Department led a procession to the Davenport Family Funeral Home on 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave.
The visitation will be held Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake.
McHone will be buried at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
