Rain in Store for Chicago

Conditions could get icy Sunday morning as the National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory for north, northwest and west surburbs.

The warning is in effect until 9 a.m. and includes Lake, McHenry, Kane, Boone and DeKalb counties.

NBC Chicago's Brant Miller expects temps to warm up as the day goes on, but Chicagoans could to see up to a half inch of rain showers throughout the day.

Windy conditions are expected to cause temperatures to rise into the mid-40s as a storm makes it's way across the midwest.

But these warmer temperatures aren't expected to stay as some snow flurries are possible Monday.
