CTA trains on the North Side were delayed early Thursday after a woman's foot got trapped between a train and the platform at the Rogers Park/Loyola L stop.
Fire department officials said the incident happened about 12:20 a.m. The foot was freed and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital.
Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford confirmed the incident, but could not provide further information about the victim or her condition.
