A fetus was discovered in a trash can in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the south side Thursday morning, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

The fetus was found about 9 a.m. in the 200 block of West 94th Street, officials said.

Chicago police could not comment Thursday night.

An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.

Earlier this week, a fetus was found outside the Yorktown Mall in Lombard.
