A pair of men were found shot to death in an apartment in suburban Riverdale, according to police.
Just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Riverdale police responded to a call in the 13000 block of South Indiana. When officers arrived, they found two victims, a 25-year-old man and a 61-year-old man, dead of apparent gunshot wounds.
According to police, the victims were a father, Vincent Martin, and his son Marquil Carter.
Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene, and Riverdale police are currently investigating the case.
Officers do not believe that the incident was a random act of violence.
