Suburban Navy Sailor Reported Missing in Washington State

A suburban U.S. Navy sailor’s family is heading to Washington State to look for him after he was reported missing over the weekend.

Jeremiah Adams hasn’t been seen since he walked into the Olympic National Forest last week, according to his family. He was supposed to meet up with friends for a planned hike on Saturday, but he never showed up.

Adams’ car was found near a trailhead on Monday night, according to authorities. His family is heading to Washington to help in the search for him.

The 24-year-old, an Oswego East High School graduate, is an electrician on board the USS Nimitz.
