‘Eyes to the Skies' Festival Evacuated in Lisle Due to Weather

The threat of stormy weather has prompted officials to call for a temporary evacuation of the "Eyes to the Skies" festival in suburban Lisle.

According to the Lisle Police Department, high winds and possible lightning led to the shutdown of the event, and the grounds have been temporarily evacuated.

The festival, which features hot air balloons and carnival rides, could be re-opened later this afternoon, but organizers will have final say.
