Creators of a new TV series plan to revive a 1970s horror classic and are looking for Chicago talent to retell the terrifying tale.

The new television drama titled “The Exorcist” is inspired by William Blatty’s novel of the same name and will be shot in Chicago, according to an announcement made by 4 Star Casting on Facebook. The book was also made into a movie, which was released in 1973.

Actors are needed to play in various roles including CTA train riders, fallen priests, altar boys, and parishioners, according to casting site Backstage.com. 4 Star Casting posted to their Facebook page that it was looking for a "Church Mom" and "Church Child."
