Two dogs were rescued and one person suffered a "minor injury" after a two-story multifamily townhome fire in north suburban Evanston, officials said Monday.
Evanston police and firefighters responded to the fire, in the 8300 block of Sherman Avenue, about 3:30 p.m.
Officials said the fire was out by about 4:30 p.m.
Details on the "minor injury" were not immediately clear.
The Evanston Fire Department was investigating.
