The Erie Neighborhood House has an extensive legacy in bringing educational and social empowerment to immigrating and minority communities. By providing enriching academic programs for Chicago youth, adult programs designed to grow economic opportunity and create social mobility, and providing Chicago families with dire resources, Erie Neighborhood House has produced remarkable results. Of the 270 youths supported annually, 100% of seniors graduated from high school, and of the 584 adults enrolled in ESL classes, 70% have witnessed at least a one level bump in their English Skills Test results. Erie Neighborhood House truly provides what every generation of Chicago immigrants need, a helping and caring hand.
