An employee at a suburban Burger King restaurant was stabbed during an altercation with two customers, according to police.
Police say that two patrons of the restaurant initiated an altercation with employees at the Burger King near the intersection of 183rd and Kedzie in suburban Hazel Crest. During that altercation, one of the employees was stabbed, and police say that the worker was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment.

That employee’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police say.
Two persons of interest are currently in custody, according to police, but the investigation is in its early stages, and no charges have been filed.
