The top prospect in the Chicago White Sox system is taking a big step closer to the major leagues.
On Thursday, the White Sox announced a slew of promotions, including outfielder Eloy Jimenez, who has been bumped up to Triple-A Charlotte. Jimenez, the number three ranked prospect in all of baseball according to MLB Pipeline, has 10 home runs and 42 RBI in just 205 at-bats at Double-A Birmingham this season.
Another top prospect, pitcher Dylan Cease, was promoted to Double-A Birmingham. Outfielder Luis Robert was promoted to Class A Winston-Salem by the White Sox.

Promoted to Charlotte: Ian Hamilton, Eloy Jimenez, Seby Zavala
Birmingham: Luis Basabe, Joel Booker, Alex Call, Dylan Cease, Bernardo Flores, Matt Foster, Zach Thompson
Winston-Salem: Blake Battenfield, Luis Gonzalez, Lincoln Henzman, Tyler Johnson, Laz Rivera, Luis Robert
