Charges Possible Against Puppy-Tosser

Black and white dog not seriously injured after being out a car a window on Dec. 10

Charges could come Monday against a motorist who allegedly tossed an 8-month-old pup out the window of his car and kept going.

The black and white dog remains was not seriously injured when it was thrown out of a car on the morning  of Dec. 10 near the busy intersection of North Avenue and Route 83.

A member of nearby XSport Fitness noticed the dog and brought him inside until police arrived.

"I don’t think there will be any problem adopting him out once this case is closed," the hospital's manager, Brian Jeffery, told TribLocal earlier in the week.

A hospital representative said the dog remained healthy Friday and still had not been given a name.
