Dwyane Wade Reacts to Jimmy Butler Trade Reports

Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade had an interesting reaction to reports that his teammate Jimmy Butler had been traded on Thursday night, taking to Instagram to express his feelings on the deal.

Wade, who reportedly agreed to pick up his 2017-18 contract option with the Bulls earlier this week, will likely now be the star of the team, but he posted a picture with Butler after the deal was reported by multiple outlets:

Butler was reportedly traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday during the first round of the NBA Draft in exchange for the seventh overall pick, Zach LaVine, and Kris Dunn, according to mutliple reports.

Wade signed with the Bulls prior to the 2016-17 season, and he was looking to form a strong trio with Butler and point guard Rajon Rondo. The three looked good at times during the season, but injuries and poor play derailed the group as they were knocked out in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

According to TNT's David Aldridge, when Wade opted back into his Bulls' contract, the reporter asked him why he decided to stay.

"$24 million reasons," Wade reportedly replied.
